|Qlik Sense Desktop is primarily intended for product evaluation purposes UNLESS it is linked to a Qlik Sense Enterprise License. Free usage does not require a license but is not supported through the normal support channels. Free users should refer to product documentation or Qlik Community.|
It is advisable to do product evaluation on the latest available product release, as this has most enhancements and is considered the most stable version. Qlik Sense Desktop has a expiration date to enforce user to upgrade to later version. After expiration the Qlik Sense Desktop will not function until updated or upgraded.
For production and development environments Qlik Sense Enterprise should be used for app development and business discovery.
